Board-certified Internal Medicine
I live in Wellesley with my husband, our two teenage daughters, and pets, and we are grateful to call this community home, both personally and professionally.
As a double board-certified internist, my passion is guiding patients to lasting wellness through lifestyle changes. My path to lifestyle medicine was shaped by my Mediterranean roots. My parents instilled in me a love for my Greek culture through language, religion and food. Every summer, I spent three months in Greece with my extended family, enjoying olives, ripe tomatoes, fresh fish and juicy watermelon, as well as a slower pace of life centered on family and community. Today, I guide my patients to explore the benefits of plant-based eating, exercising, and connecting with others for lifelong wellness.
My parents, a university professor and a physical therapist entrepreneur, inspired me to pursue a purposeful career. I graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Bioengineering while studying French, Spanish, and Italian. I enjoyed performing and choreographing with an all-student run dance company, Arts House Dance. It was during these years I found my passion for medicine and the art of teaching others.
I attended medical school at Columbia University where I was drawn to internal medicine for its focus on treating the whole person. My engineering background helped me with the critical reasoning needed to develop a diagnostic and treatment plan. As a resident at Yale New Haven Hospital, I loved the relationships I formed with my patients in the outpatient primary care clinic. I advocated for and worked with them to live healthier lives, and that’s when I knew I found my purpose.
After residency, I focused on primary care, with an emphasis on women’s health. I was fortunate to have the support of my husband, Samuel, an OBGYN reproductive endocrinologist — we share a passion for women’s health and learn a lot from each other.
In 2011, we moved to Boston with our young daughters to be near family and I joined the Division of Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s and Harvard Medical School. At The Fish Center for Women’s Health, my work centered on advancing women’s health, teaching medical students and residents, and developing expertise in trauma-informed care, menopause, and gender-specific approaches to chronic disease.

On a personal note:
I speak 5 languages: Greek, Spanish, Italian, French, and English. I love to dance and continue to take classes to keep learning and moving. Cooking is another passion, and I especially love getting recipes from friends and family and take great pride in preparing traditional Greek dishes.
